BPACC aims to provide a high quality, sustainable program of performing arts and entertainment, which is accessible to all regardless of social disadvantage or disability.

BPACC seasons incorporate a diverse range of performing arts disciplines including opera, drama, concerts and comedy. Our morning music program is offered at an affordable price that is aimed at daytime patrons and seniors.

MOSTLY MOZART

The Melbourne Opera Orchestra returns with a concert featuring a wide variety of works from the world’s most popular composer, W. A. Mozart.

The first half features popular arias from Don Giovanni and The Marriage of Figaro, with star soprano Emily Wang, the popular Figaro Overture, and the Horn Concerto No. 4. The second half comprises one of the greatest of all Mozart’s works, The Symphony No. 40 in G minor, a highly dramatic and personal masterpiece which never fails to move audiences.”

Steaming is a funny, award winning comedy that focuses on the lives of six women, all from diverse backgrounds, who meet regularly at a Turkish bathhouse in London. When the ladies hear their beloved refuge is about to close down, they unite to try and save it. This is a fascinating foray into the lives and loves of these six women, who discover friendship as they shed their inhibitions, and explore the universal theme that we are all different, but by coming to appreciate our differences, we discover we are all the same.

Night Fever - A Tribute to the BEE GEES

Three highly talented Australian vocalists harmoniously join forces along with their live band to present Night Fever, a celebration of the four decade strong success, popularity and resilience of one of the most successful musical stories ever told.

This show's playlist has been hailed as the definitive collection of Bee Gees hits, and includes best loved songs such as Massachusetts, Words, Spicks and Specks, Tragedy, I Started a Joke, How Deep Is Your Love, Run to Me, along with disco tracks, Night Fever, Stayin Alive and You Should Be Dancin. Night Fever also present a touching tribute to the two lost Gibb brothers, Andy and Maurice.

The Australian HANNAH MONTANA Show

The Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club

Established in 1995, the Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club has become one of the most popular acts on the folk festival circuit through high energy shows that never fail to entertain. Including fiddle tunes ranging from wild reels to soulful airs, the band will tour with a full complement of strings, cellos, harp and mandolin adding to the high energy sound produced by 30 fiddles and a red hot rhythm section. Vocalists include acclaimed singer songwriter Neil Adam and rising star Lucy Wise, as well as Gaelic language specialist Dr Ronald McCoy, winner of the 2007 National Library of Australia Folk Fellowship.
